Job Description
Believe Playschool Pty Ltd is a family owned and operated child care centre that provides
higher quality experiences and care, focusing on respect and support for not only the
children but also the educators alike. We have created a safe and fun ‘home away from
home’ for children to learn and develop, whilst supporting a team of likeminded educators
and childcare workers who love children and enjoy helping them thrive.
As our Child Care Worker, you will work within our team of qualified early learning
professionals to provide high-quality care for children, promote their learning and help them to develop key skills for the future.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Care and Supervise children and engage them in age-appropriate activities and program.
Assisting in the preparation of materials and equipment for children's education and recreational activities
Managing children's behaviour and guiding children's social development
Preparing and conducting activities for children
Entertaining children by reading and playing games
Supervising children in recreational activities
Supervising the daily routine of children
Supervising the hygiene of children
AS OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE, YOU WILL HAVE:
Diploma in Early Childhood Education
At least one year or more work experience in the same or similar role
Experience working with children or within a community development role
The demonstrated ability to network and work cooperatively with other community organizations
A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
A current First Aid/CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
Ideally experience and knowledge of community and family services
Full Working Rights in Australia
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to $76,515.00 per year
