Job Title: Delivery Boy
Job Summary: We are looking for a reliable and responsible Delivery Boy to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods to our customers. The Delivery Boy will work closely with our warehouse and logistics team to coordinate deliveries, maintain records, and ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a clean driving record.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver goods to customers in a timely and safe manner
Assist in loading and unloading of goods from the warehouse
Plan delivery routes and schedules in coordination with the logistics team
Collect payments from customers and maintain accurate records
Communicate effectively with customers and resolve any delivery issues
Ensure the proper handling and security of goods during transportation
Perform regular vehicle maintenance and inspections
Follow all traffic and safety regulations while driving
Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Prior experience in a delivery or customer service role preferred
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with delivery routes and GPS systems
Ability to lift and carry heavy items
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required
