The Digital Research Collections Team ensures Auckland Libraries' unique heritage and research materials are available online and that our digital assets are authentic, accessible and preserved in perpetuity. We provide users with easy access to our resources via our collection management platform, Kura Heritage Collections Online: https://kura.aucklandlibraries.govt.nz/digital/
He angitūtanga: The opportunity
You will be reporting to the Team Leader Digital Research Collections and will work closely with colleagues and collection specialists to help ensure the integrity of the digital content the team is responsible for.
Day to day, key tasks of the role could include:
Assisting with digitisation projects
Assisting in the creation of records for uploading to Kura
Contributing to the management of digital files

Some key attributes skills preferred for this role include:
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience in working with databases.
Strong ICT skills and experience in working with a variety of file types.
Experience in working with digital imaging equipment.
Can-do attitude, problem-solving skills, flexibility, and a vision to handle diverse tasks and projects.

This role is a band E, we would be looking to appoint the successful candidate at a salary of between $63K - $74K dependant on experience. Please note this is a one-year fixed term role.
