Digital Marketing Manager SEO/SEM & Performance
Job Description
Hybrid 3 days (Tu-Th) – North Chicago suburbs
Salary Range: Up to $105k base, commensurate with experience; discretionary bonus
LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a national distributor of B2B products looking to hire a Digital Marketing Manager focused on search and performance marketing who drives online growth through paid ads, SEO, social, and data-driven strategy.
This is a hands-on strategic digital marketing role responsible for driving online growth across paid media, SEO, and social channels using data, testing, and cross-functional collaboration.
Ideal Background:
• Minimum 3-5 years in digital marketing
• Strong experience in SEM, SEO, paid media, and analytics tools
• Comfortable managing budgets, campaigns, and data-driven strategy
Own digital growth across key channels
• Paid search (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads)
• SEO (organic search rankings)
• Shopping ads and ecommerce discovery
• Organic social media + influencer campaigns
Drive business results
• Increase website traffic, leads, and revenue
• Improve conversion rates and ROI from marketing spend
Run and optimize campaigns
• Build, manage, and improve ad campaigns, budgets, and targeting
• Continuously test and refine performance to maximize results
Lead SEO strategy
• Improve search rankings and visibility
• Conduct keyword research and optimize website/product pages
Oversee social & influencer efforts
• Guide organic social strategy across platforms
• Manage influencer partnerships and campaigns
Use data to drive decisions
• Analyze performance (traffic, revenue, ROI)
• Provide insights and reporting to leadership
Work cross-functionally
• Partner with ecommerce, marketing, content, and tech teams
• Manage agencies and external partners
Stay ahead of trends
• Adapt to AI/LLM-driven search and emerging marketing technologies
