Digital Commerce Manager
Job Description
Location: Hyderabad, India (Hybrid – 4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

Role Overview
This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, reliability, and quality of a digital commerce platform within a bioscience business unit. It acts as a QA and operations lead, overseeing platform governance, testing, release management, and production support.
You will partner closely with IT, Product, and Business teams to ensure smooth platform performance, manage incidents, and continuously improve digital commerce systems across B2B customer journeys.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Governance & Operations
• Manage SAP Commerce Cloud backoffice configuration (users, roles, permissions, workflows)
• Define catalog structure and versioning strategies
• Ensure secure and compliant platform operations
QA Leadership
• Own QA strategy across functional, regression, integration, and non-functional testing
• Coordinate test planning, execution, defect tracking, and release sign-off
• Improve test automation and QA efficiency
Release & Change Management
• Coordinate release readiness and deployment processes
• Manage risk, dependencies, and rollback strategies
• Ensure controlled and predictable production releases
Production Support & Incident Management
• Monitor platform health and performance
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis
• Act as escalation point for production issues
Performance & Continuous Improvement
• Analyse digital commerce performance metrics
• Identify inefficiencies across customer journeys (registration → ordering → post-order support)
• Recommend improvements based on data, testing, and user feedback
Usability & Experience
• Conduct usability testing and journey analysis
• Improve customer experience across digital touchpoints
Required Skills & Experience
• SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) experience
• Experience in digital commerce operations
• Strong QA background (test planning, release testing)
• Incident management & production support experience
• Knowledge of performance/security testing (non-functional)
• Experience working with cross-functional IT/Product/Business teams
Preferred
• Life Sciences / Biotech / regulated industry experience
• QA automation experience
• Monitoring tools (Datadog, CloudWatch, etc.)
• Strong understanding of B2B digital commerce systems
