About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Wheldale Heights care home in Castleford.
In this role, you will be responsible for cooking delicious, healthy, and nutritious meals for the people we support in our care home. Meal times are an important part of our daily routine, especially for those living in care homes.
Your primary objective will be to ensure that everyone has a positive dining experience, promoting nutritional intake, social interaction, and a sense of community.
Key Responsibilities
• Cooking healthy and nutritious meals for residents
• Ensuring high standards of food hygiene and safety
• Working as part of a team to provide excellent customer service
• Developing and implementing creative menus and food preparation methods
