Qualifications
To be eligible for the Mechanic 2nd Shift role in Bossier City, LA, US, possessing a valid Driver’s License is a must
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of practical experience working on heavy-duty trucks as a technician
Proficiency in independently conducting inspections and repairs on various heavy truck and automotive systems is a key requirement for this position
While holding ASE Heavy Truck Certifications (T1-T8) is beneficial, it is not obligatory
Previous exposure to LNG and/or CNG is considered advantageous although not obligatory
Having a Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License would be advantageous, but it is not a compulsory requirement

Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY With direct supervision from a Lead Mechanic, Fleet Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Manager, a Maintenance Mechanic performs repair and maintenance work on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks including, but not limited to, chassis components; refuse bodies, including control, hydraulic, and electrical systems; air brake systems; general engine work; HVAC components; and suspension, drive train and steering systems
Perform advanced repair and maintenance tasks on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks specifically during the 2nd shift in Bossier City, LA, US
Specialize in repairing chassis components, and maintaining refuse bodies, including control, hydraulic, and electrical systems, as well as air brake systems
Demonstrate expertise in engine repair, suspension, drivetrain, and steering systems, in addition to HVAC components
Utilize electronic tools for identifying malfunctions and executing complex repair duties both on-site and on the road
Engage in all relevant Company training programs to stay updated on the latest technologies and equipment
Be ready to undertake various assigned tasks and contribute positively to the community and the environment
While waste hauling experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory for this role

• Specialize in repairing chassis components, and maintaining refuse bodies, including control, hydraulic, and electrical systems, as well as air brake systems.
• Demonstrate expertise in engine repair, suspension, drivetrain, and steering systems, in addition to HVAC components.
