Qualification: Diploma in Dialysis Technology from a recognized institute

Job Description:
As a Dialysis Technician at Kusum Dhirajlal (KD) Hospital in Ahmedabad, you will play a crucial role in providing hemodialysis treatment to patients with kidney failure. Your responsibilities will include performing dialysis procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient safety throughout the treatment process.
Responsibilities:
• Perform hemodialysis procedures according to established protocols, including femoral access.
• Monitor and care for vascular access sites and other wounds as needed.
• Respond effectively to dialysis-related emergencies and manage them appropriately.
• Follow proper procedures for reprocessing dialyzers to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
• Clean and disinfect dialysis machines and equipment according to unit protocols.
• Report inventory shortages and equipment malfunctions to the department in charge.
• Maintain working knowledge of the R.O. plant and assist with its maintenance as required.
