Job Description
Role Overview:
As a DevOps Engineer specializing in SaaS deployments, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure for our SaaS products. You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment processes, high availability, and continuous improvement of our cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across multiple environments (e.g., OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP) to support
SaaS product deployments.
• CI/CD Pipeline: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes for SaaS applications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to support and enhance deployment processes and resolve deployment issues.
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for deployment processes, infrastructure setup, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Innovation: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve deployment strategies and cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with hands-on experience deploying and managing SaaS applications in cloud environments.
• Cloud Platforms: Expertise in cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, Azure, and/or GCP, including services like database management, Kubernetes, Docker, containers
• CI/CD Tools: Proficiency in CI/CD tools and platforms such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitLab CI, etc.
• Scripting: Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python and Bash.
• Problem- Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and resolve issues quickly.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certifications: Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., OCI Certified DevOps Professional Certification, AWS Certified Solutions Architect,
azure Certified DevOps Engineer, GCP Professional DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator CKA).
• Container Management tools (e.g. Docker, Container)
• Configuration Management: Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet) and infrastructure as code
(IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, C Loud Formation).
• Agile: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development environments.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and application security
