Developer - Campaign Communications
Job Description
About the role:
We're looking for a Developer; Campaign Communications to be the dedicated owner of Origin's mandatory service communications within Kraken's Transactional Messaging environment — our class-leading CRM platform.
Reporting to the Lead; Customer Engagement Strategy & Platform, this is a newly created position – you'll be the first dedicated resource for this capability within the team.
You’ll work directly in the platform to understand new communication requirements, configure triggers and audience logic, build and QA communications end-to-end, and launch them with precision. Once live, you own them. Including monitoring, ongoing maintenance and optimisation. A platform migration to Kraken’s new Transactional Messaging environment is already well underway; beyond that transition, this role is focused on the ongoing build, governance and performance assurance of mandatory communications at scale.
Why this role matters?
You'll be the first in this seat – a genuine opportunity to shape how Origin's mandatory communications capability is built and run within our team
Millions of customer interactions depend on the accuracy and reliability of these communications every day
You’ll own the QA and assurance process — validating triggers, testing logic, diagnosing failures and ensuring every communication is accurate and compliant before it reaches a customer
You'll work across CRM, data and technology teams, translating complex business rules into scalable, compliant communication logic
Your governance frameworks will directly influence customer experience, regulatory compliance and operational efficiency at scale
This role grows with you – as the capability matures, so does the scope
What will you bring?
Experience in CRM operations, marketing technology or mandatory communications platform management
Hands on experience building and managing communications in enterprise CRM or orchestration platforms – Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Adobe Campaign, Kraken or similar
A high degree of ownership when it comes to audience segmentation, eligibility logic, rule-based communication delivery and owning QA end-to-end
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and data-driven content configuration, with familiarity with APIs and event triggers
Experience managing personalisation frameworks, context variables and dynamic content logic
A collaborative, detail-oriented approach – you can translate complex logic into clear, usable frameworks, work autonomously and work comfortably across technical and non-technical teams
