Key Responsibilities:
• Algolia Search Implementation: Utilize your extensive experience with Algolia Search to implement and integrate Algolia into our applications, ensuring seamless and efficient search functionality.
• Relevance Tuning: Collaborate with the product and design teams to understand user requirements and fine-tune search algorithms for optimal relevance. Continuously improve search results to enhance the user experience.
• Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve search-related issues, such as indexing problems, query performance, and relevance problems. Debug and identify root causes, implementing solutions to address them.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize the search infrastructure for performance, scalability, and responsiveness. Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the search process to ensure fast and efficient searches.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation of Algolia configurations, search algorithms, and troubleshooting procedures for future reference.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to understand business requirements and implement search solutions that align with organizational goals.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in search technology and Algolia to bring innovative ideas and improvements to the team.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of professional development experience.
• Proven experience with Algolia Search, including relevance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Node.js or C# .Net.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex search-related issues.
• Experience with search engine technologies, indexing, and query optimization.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
