The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000 annually
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to position offered and work experience

Responsibilities
The Apparel/Accessories Designer will be responsible for creating product designs that are both cost-effective and innovative
Translate design direction and fabric/trim selections into original designs
Create original flat sketches based on existing trends and mainstream designs
Work with Design Team to create tech packs, ensuring designs accurately translate into development samples
Collaborate with Trend Forecasting Team on seasonal trends and concepts
Research trends and bring in new ideas through competitive shopping, magazines, websites, and runway shows
Train and mentor Assistant and Associate Designers by offering constructive criticism and guidance
Source fabrics, trims, fastenings, and embellishments
Research market to determine trends in color, theme, fabric, trim and style
Work closely with Senior Designer on development of seasonal brainstorm boards for style, graphics and trim
Create CADs and tech packs to effectively communicate product details and trims
Communicate with the product development team to ensure proper execution of samples and product
Attend and participate in design meetings
Attend and participate in fittings
