About the Role:
We are looking for a talented and thoughtful Designer to join our team at Anand Prakash.
The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for detail, a deep interest in craft and materials, and the ability to translate ideas into refined products, packaging, catalogues, and visual stories. This role is suited for someone who enjoys working across product design, stationery, gifting, lifestyle products, and brand communication.
At Anand Prakash, design is not only about how something looks. It is about how an object feels, what story it carries, how it is made, and how it becomes meaningful for the person receiving it.
You will work closely with the founder and the team to develop new products, collections, catalogues, packaging concepts, and design presentations for our retail and corporate gifting business.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conceptualise and develop designs for stationery, home decor, desk accessories, corporate gifts, and lifestyle products.
- Create product stories, mood boards, sketches, layouts, renderings, and presentations to clearly communicate design ideas.
- Work on luxury product catalogues, client presentations, packaging layouts, and visual communication along with the sales and design teams.
- Research materials, craft techniques, production processes, finishes, and design trends relevant to the brand.
- Coordinate with artisans, vendors, and production teams to ensure that design intent is carried through to the final product.
- Develop designs that reflect the Anand Prakash language of craft, heritage, detail, and quiet elegance.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions, design reviews, and collection planning.
- Support the team in creating custom products and corporate gifting concepts for reputed clients, institutions, and organisations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field.
- 3 to 4 years of experience in product design, lifestyle design, graphic design, packaging, fashion, accessories, or a related creative field.
- Robust working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Knowledge of CorelDRAW will be an added advantage.
- Good sketching, layout, rendering, and presentation skills.
- Ability to create refined catalogues, product decks, packaging layouts, and design presentations.
- Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, finishes, and production techniques.
- Strong sense of aesthetics, typography, composition, colour, and detailing.
- Interest in craft, heritage, handmade products, stationery, gifting, and lifestyle design.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present ideas clearly.
- A portfolio showcasing design projects, creativity, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
