Key Responsibilities :
• Lead the design process for renewable energy projects from concept through detailed design and construction.
• Manage project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of design milestones.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Develop and review detailed designs, drawings, and specifications for renewable energy systems.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, local codes, and project requirements.
• Conduct technical reviews and evaluations of design documents.
• Manage and mentor a team of engineers and designers specializing in renewable energy.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide professional development opportunities.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures for renewable energy designs.
• Perform regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design intent and quality standards.
• Resolve technical issues and design discrepancies promptly.
• Develop and manage design budgets for renewable energy projects.
Qualifications :
• Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in renewable energy design, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery in the renewable energy sector (solar, wind, biomass, etc.).
• Strong technical knowledge of renewable energy systems and industry standards.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, PVsyst, WindPRO, or other relevant tools.
