Job Description
Job Title: Design Management Team Lead
About the Role:
This is a high-profile position that requires strong leadership and management skills to oversee the Design Management team. The successful candidate will work closely with team leaders, assist in business development, and contribute to the DM business planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the Design Management team, including supervising staff, mentoring, training, and performance reviews.
Develop and implement design management tools and procedures, ensuring quality and compliance with contractual obligations.
Lead Design Management projects across the UK and Internationally, collaborating with sub-consultants and managing their contracts.
Establish and implement design management procedures, including roles and responsibilities, design programmes, and budget management.
Requirements:
Understanding of the design process and project programming skills.
Experience in developing and implementing design management tools and procedures.
Excellent communication and commercial awareness skills.
Proficiency in MS Project/Excel/InDesign.
