Design & drawing fabrication ( mechanical )

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design & Drawing Fabrication Engineer (Mechanical) with strong expertise in AutoCAD to develop fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and detailed manufacturing documentation. The candidate will be responsible for translating engineering concepts into accurate fabrication drawings, coordinating with production teams, and ensuring designs comply with project specifications and industry standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Drafting
• Prepare detailed fabrication, shop, and assembly drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings, sectional views, and detailed component drawings.
• Interpret engineering specifications, sketches, and customer requirements to create accurate technical drawings.
• Revise and update drawings based on project changes and manufacturing feedback.
• Ensure drawings comply with applicable engineering standards and company procedures.

Fabrication Support
• Generate fabrication details for structures, equipment, sheet metal components, and mechanical assemblies.
• Prepare cutting plans, welding details, and fabrication layouts.
• Coordinate with production and fabrication teams to resolve drawing-related issues.
