• Test or evaluate photovoltaic (PV) cells or modules.
• Review specifications and recommend engineering or manufacturing changes to achieve solar design objectives.
• Perform thermal, stress, or cost reduction analyses for solar systems.
• Develop standard operation procedures and quality or safety standards for solar installation work.
• Design or develop vacuum tube collector systems for solar applications.
• Provide technical direction or support to installation teams during installation, start-up, testing, system commissioning, or performance monitoring.
• Perform computer simulation of solar photovoltaic (PV) generation system performance or energy production to optimize efficiency.
• Create plans for solar energy system development, monitoring, and evaluation activities.
• Create checklists for review or inspection of completed solar installation projects.
• Create electrical single-line diagrams, panel schedules, or connection diagrams for solar electric systems using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• he project engineer works to plan projects, establish project criteria, coordinate project reviews, and ensure the proper implementation of project elements.
• Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned engineering projects.
Incumbent will be responsible for site operations and project delivery. His reporting
• will be to Manager (Project).

In-charge of site operations, working with contractors and subcontractors, and
ensuring the project completion as per schedule.
Controlling all aspects of the project including planning, execution, quality and
resource mobilization.
Daily material and manpower mobilization and management.
Ensuring Quality Control and Quality Assurance of the material and work being
done as per Sunshots standards.
Maintaining strict Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) norms and guidelines
during construction.
Maintaining record and documentation of work and material at site and regular
reporting.
O&M supervision of the project.
Site survey and provide technical support to sales team.
Required Candidate profile:-
• Basic understanding of civil, mechanical and electrical work of the solar project
• Good knowledge of BOM of Solar Power Plant
• Effective written and oral communications skills
• Problem solving ability, project management
• Vendor management
• Good judgment and analytical skills
Responsible for engineering, design (using AutoCAD), and delivery of grid connected solar photovoltaic systems (including rooftop, carport and ground mounted arrays) on time and on budget.
The Solar Engineer will provide final bids, proposals, and RFIs, and provide support during construction and commissioning. Maintain design and proposal requirements, knowledge of codes and standards, design procedures, methods and process, improve efficiency of project development and project selection process
