Redlynch State College are seeking applications for a temporary full-time Deputy Principal (Special Education) to join their school community for a period of 6 months, unless otherwise determined.

Within This Role You Will Have The Opportunity To

Improve the educational outcomes of all students in your school, especially those with disabilities;
Develop the quality of teaching and learning;
Nurture positive relationships between students, teachers, the community and stakeholders.

Redlynch State College is a modern P-12 college situated in a picturesque and safe suburban setting offering the very best learning environment for all our students. The college has a proud history of academic success, sporting prowess, community support and parent involvement.

The school was first opened on the original school site in 1+32. The new primary campus, on the current site, was opened in 1++4 with an enrolment of 180 and has continued to experience considerable growth. Community support saw the push for a secondary campus and in 2007 our ‘7-12 campus' opened its doors to year seven and eight. In 2011 we celebrated the first cohort of students to graduate in Year 12.

About The Role

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assist the Principal to lead the school community through the school special education program (SEP) or early childhood development program (ECDP) to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
Deputise for the Principal when required.
Uphold the deputy principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
Set high standards for student and staff performance.
