Job Description
Applications are invited for the post of Deputy General Manager - IT Database Administration
Job Profile :
The ideal candidate should be a B. Tech/MCA/M.Sc.
in relevant fields and possess 6+ years' strong Oracle Database Administration experience in maintaining high availability of databases for global operation using Oracle RAC and Data Guard/ Standby databases.
Candidate should have performed multiple Patching cycles (one off patch, PSU Patches) of Grid Infrastructure and Database and major Database Upgrades.
Possessing a deep understanding of Oracle Architecture, RAC, Grid Infrastructure (CRS, ASM), RMAN, Data Guard/Physical Standby and experience of managing multiple RDBMS on large systems, the candidate should also possess strong experience in Backup and Recovery, Database Performance Tuning.
Along with hands-on experience of Oracle Database Migration and Oracle Enterprise Manager.
