About the Position:

Complete Dental Care, located on St Kilda Road in Melbourne, is seeking a professional and personable Dental Receptionist / Treatment Coordinator to join their established and high-performing team. This role will commence as a part-time position, transitioning into full-time in early August.

With over 25 years of providing trusted dental care to Melbourne families, the practice is known for its strong focus on patient experience, preventative care, and high-quality outcomes.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, playing a key part in creating a warm, welcoming, and seamless patient journey from initial enquiry through to treatment completion. Working closely with a stable and experienced clinical team, you will support treatment coordination, manage appointments, and ensure patients feel informed and comfortable every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Interaction: Greet patients warmly, check them in and out, and manage appointment scheduling.
Administrative Support: Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries, providing information about treatments and addressing patient concerns or complaints.
Billing and Insurance: Process payments, manage billing inquiries, and assist patients with payment plans and verification.
Records Management: Maintain patient records accurately, ensuring confidentiality and compliance within regulations.
Office Organisation: Keep the reception area tidy and organised, ensuring that all necessary materials are stocked and available.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow and communication between front and back office.

What do you need to succeed:

Prior experience in dental reception is essential
A Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting is beneficial but not mandatory
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Capability to address patient concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy
Attention to detail
