Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dental Claims Submission Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for the timely submission of dental insurance claims, tracking payments, following up on outstanding balances, and ensuring the accuracy of accounts receivable.
Submit dental insurance claims electronically and manually with accuracy and timeliness
Review patient records, treatment plans, and insurance coverage to ensure proper coding and documentation
Follow up on unpaid or rejected claims; investigate and resolve discrepancies
Monitor accounts receivable reports and maintain current aging reports
Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim issues and obtain payment status
Work with front office staff and patients to clarify billing inquiries and account balances
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and dental billing guidelines
Required Skills and Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience in claims and accounts receivable
Experience with dental management software
Excellent attention to detail and numbers
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Full English proficiency
Microsoft Office skills and proficiency with G-suite (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, etc); High-speed Internet, PC with two screens, headset, and a webcam
