Legacy dental clinic is looking for someone personable, organized, and self-guided with good communication skills to join our team.

We are a single-owned private general dental practice based in South Edmonton and we are growing. We are looking for a strong team member who can help us deliver a high quality patient experience.

The office uses Open Dental software. Being proficient with Microsoft Office; importing and exporting files, and scanning documents is preferred. Being able to type an average of 40+ words per minute is required.

Dental reception certification, knowledge or experience in dental reception is strongly favored. Open Dental experience is beneficial but training can be provided.

We are a moderately-paced practice with friendly staff who have a keen sense of quality of care, attention to detail and customer service.

Our hours of operation are:
Monday 10-6pm

Tuesday 8-6pm

Wednesday-Friday 8-4:30pm

Select Saturdays (1-2 Saturdays per month) 8-3pm

We are seeking a Dental Receptionist who has a high level of personal and professional integrity and great customer service skills. Previous dental experience is not required, but we are looking for someone who is detail oriented and able to accurately summarize information. The successful candidate will demonstrate confidentiality skills and possess a genuine interest in learning about various dental procedures.

Responsibilities:

Greet patients and visitors in a friendly manner.
Answer phones and direct calls.
Email dental insurance information to patients.
Process insurance claims online.
Manage files.
Using a computerized cash register system.
Stay up to date on current dental trends and treatments.
Keep front desk and waiting area tidy
Assist with chart-note taking and treatment planning
Please be prepared to help the back-end staff as needed
