Our Central Christchurch branch is looking for a confident driver to join our great team, so if you are looking for a role where you can get out and about and be part of an awesome in-store team then hit APPLY NOW!

Your day is going to be busy, out on the road delivering products and building relationships with our customers, also working in our Inwards Goods, picking packing orders, stocking shelves, and helping in other areas of the branch when required.

Hands-on role – packing the truck meeting customers on-site
Customer-focused – when out doing deliveries
Trade knowledge would be great, but not needed – we can teach you
Teamwork is what we are all about – get stuck in and get it done
A willingness to learn, be part of the team with a good attitude

We seek someone with the right attitude, who is physically fit as there will be some heavy lifting, someone who is flexible, and who is a total team player.

Plumbing World is committed to our customer service promise, and we are focused on exceeding customers’ expectations, so it’s all hands-on deck at the trade counter before +am no matter your role in the branch, this is to ensure customers are looked after straight away and they get what they need to start their day.

This role is working Full-time Monday to Friday with a rostered Saturday.

Skills Experience

Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations
Good sales service skills
Work well under pressure while displaying good sound logic
Customer Focus is a must (mainly trade related)
Physically fit as there will be some heavy lifting
NZ Full drivers’ licence
Pride in personal appearance with great interpersonal skills
