Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver and Kitchen Helper to join our team. This dual-role position involves delivering orders to customers efficiently while assisting in the kitchen with food preparation and clean-up. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be comfortable with moving heavy items, and have experience in warehouse or commercial driving environments. Duties
Safely operate delivery vehicles, including commercial trucks or vans, to transport food orders to customers promptly and accurately
Assist in the kitchen with food preparation, packaging, and maintaining cleanliness standards
Load and unload supplies or equipment using appropriate moving techniques and tools such as forklifts when necessary
Ensure all deliveries are completed with professionalism, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or questions
Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with team members regarding schedules or issues
Help with warehouse organization, including moving inventory and ensuring storage areas are tidy and accessible
Follow safety protocols during all moving, driving, and kitchen activities to prevent accidents or injuries
Qualifications
Prior experience in warehouse operations, commercial driving, or food service is preferred
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus but not required; training may be provided
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members
Valid driver’s license suitable for commercial driving; clean driving record preferred
Experience with moving large or heavy items using proper techniques and equipment
Good organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and delivery schedules
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
