Defense Litigation Attorney
About Us: We are a well-established law firm in Atlanta, specializing in various areas of Defense litigation including transportation, workers' compensation, premises liability, and other civil matters. Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Defense Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation, particularly in the areas of transportation, workers' compensation, and premises liability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Represent clients in defense litigation cases, including transportation, workers' compensation, and premises liability.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Manage all phases of litigation from inception through trial, including discovery, depositions, and court appearances.
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients and develop effective defense strategies.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure comprehensive case management.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Georgia State Bar.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in defense litigation.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
• Experience in transportation, workers' compensation, and premises liability is highly preferred.
