Defense Lawyer III

We are seeking a highly skilled Defense Lawyer III with expertise in general liability defense to join our New York Staff Counsel team at AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering outstanding results in complex commercial general liability lawsuits.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough investigations and develop effective litigation strategies.
Participate in depositions and alternative dispute resolution processes.
Represent AmTrust in court proceedings and negotiate settlements.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:

A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an American Bar Association (ABA) accredited law school and a valid license to practice law in New York.
At least 5 years of experience in general liability defense litigation.
Excellent knowledge of civil procedure, rules of evidence, and trial practice.
