Job Description
This Litigation Paralegal position requires a highly skilled and organized individual who can provide critical support to our attorneys in the preparation and presentation of cases. The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research to gather relevant information
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date internal databases
- Organize and manage large volumes of documents and evidence
- Collaborate with attorneys to develop effective strategies for case preparation and presentation
- Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other stakeholders
- Assist with voir dire, jury selection, and witness preparation
- Prepare comprehensive medical chronologies and Howell analysis
- Conduct background checks, social media investigations, and litigation history
Requirements
- 3+ years' recent experience in civil litigation – employment and/or wage and hour class action/PAGA experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cloud-based applications
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
