Job Summary:
The Field Recovery/Collections Officer is responsible for on-ground recovery and follow-up of overdue vehicle loan accounts. The role involves visiting customers, negotiating repayment solutions, and ensuring timely collection of EMIs or recovery of vehicles in case of defaults, while maintaining professionalism and adhering to legal and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Visit delinquent customers to follow up on overdue vehicle loan payments.
Persuade and counsel customers for timely repayment or settlement of dues.
Deliver payment reminders, legal notices, and collection letters when needed.
Ensure field visits and recovery activities are conducted as per collection SOPs and RBI guidelines.
Coordinate with tele-calling, legal, and repossession teams for case escalation or vehicle seizure when necessary.
Maintain accurate records of daily visits, customer interactions, and recovery status.
Handle customer objections professionally and escalate unresolved issues.
Track and report skip-traced accounts and non-contactable borrowers.
Achieve monthly collection and recovery targets assigned by the company.
Qualifications Skills:
Minimum 12th pass; Graduate preferred.
1–3 years of experience in collections, preferably in NBFCs or vehicle loan recovery.
Familiarity with the local geography and language.
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
Two-wheeler and valid driving license mandatory.
Basic knowledge of loan documents, repossession procedures, and recovery norms.
Work Environment:
Field-based role with extensive travel.

Must be willing to work under pressure and in target-driven environments.
