Job Description
The role of Manager-Accounting will oversee monthly book closing as per the laws. This role will be based out of Jaipur, Rajasthan and will report to Director-Finance.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
• Monthly closing of book of accounts
• Reporting to external stakeholders, day to day book accounting;
• Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation
• Oversees preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
• Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards
• Audits accounts to ensure compliance with regulations; coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned
• Drives automation and optimization required to adhere to reporting standards
• Adheres to overall process timelines for delivery while ensuring all sub processes meet execution standards
• Anticipates and solves for problems and blockers before they arise
• Understands interrelationships of metrics and predicts how they will behave in different scenarios.
• Drives analytical output by guiding and coordinating with analysts.
Candidate Profile:
• Proven work experience in a similar role for 47 years
• Professional qualification CA
• Professional qualification CA
• Strong knowledge of financial and accounting procedures and finalisation of books
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Good communication skills
• Experience in Ecommerce/Retail Industry is preferred
• Experience using financial software (SAP, TALLY, ERP
