What Youll Do The Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence (GSC CoE) in Pune is a state-of-the-art center, providing support to Eaton plants and Supply Chain teams worldwide. It focuses on cost intelligence, standard sourcing processes, and supplier consolidation to simplify the supply chain. Known for its operational efficiency, innovation, digitization, and sustainability efforts, the center specializes in: • Supply Chain Management • Procurement • Materials • Logistics • Quality • Digital Excellence • Sourcing • Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) • Global Trade Management (GTM) This role, based in Eatons GSC CoE in Pune, will support the Logistics function by driving the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF) and instilling a continuous improvement culture. Responsibilities include setting up processes, ensuring adherence to QMS standards, and collaborating with workstreams to identify and solve unique challenges. • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction through Continuous Improvement methods. • Prioritize process enhancements in logistics planning and execution, collaborating with various functions and process owners. • Engage in quality, environmental, safety, and sustainability initiatives to foster a culture of continuous improvement. • Ensure data collection and reporting for project reviews. • Conduct value stream mapping, audits, time studies, and process improvements. • Support efficiency improvements by eliminating process deviations and enforcing procedures. • Assist in quality management processes, audits, and improving EQMS performance. Qualifications: • Graduate in Technical or Any Stream OR Post Graduate in Operations or Supply Chain • Minimum 2-5 years in leading operations and/or continuous improvement • Formal Lean tools training/certification with at least 2 years of related experience • Lean certification preferred Skills: • Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies like 8D, A3, etc. • Experience in business process improvement • Knowledge of project and transition management • Ability to lead change in a team environment • Strong analytical skills with a digital mindset • Excellent English communication skills (written, spoken, visual) • Good presentation and listening skills • High learning agility and flexibility • Technology-savvy with an innovative, digital mindset • Effective escalation management and solution-providing abilities • People agility in interacting at various organizational levels
