Job Title: DBC FIC Core Rates – COG
Location: Mumbai, India
Role Description
The Trading Enabler supports traders in trade idea generation by performing data analysis and identification of potential trading opportunities / strategies, preparing macro analysis of events, market commentaries, news summaries, company profiles, etc. using available market data systems. The Trading Enabler will assist traders in preparing corporate profiles and analyzing the credit and fundamentals of companies; risk management support, including risk analysis; reporting and trade capture; analysis of hedging strategies and rule based hedging; building quantitative models and automation tools for pricing.

Your key responsibilities
• Identifying opportunities and strategies including repo's and FX swaps to ensure efficient funding of cash and securities collateral, arising from initial and variation margin requirements, by working in tandem with market making desks and DB treasury.
• Inventory management function to ensure the desk always maintains optimal inventory.
• Periodic analysis of spot cheapest-to-deliver ladder to ensure collateral posting across CSAs is optimal.
• Daily monitoring of collateral posted at central clearing counterparties and identifying opportunities to optimize.
• Taking ownership of P&L and balance sheet and constantly endeavor to minimize cost.
• Working with desk and Rates Strats group to create business solutions and enhance existing infrastructure for better risk management.
• Creating and running bespoke analysis on CSA features.
• Continually be on a lookout for efficient avenues for arranging collateral in addition to the usual sources like the repo market.
Your skills and experience
• Strong educational background in Engineering/Finance or Economics.
• Basic fixed income markets and product knowledge is essential; derivatives markets background would be highly desirable,
• You should have an analytical aptitude, with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Strong excel skills will be required. VBA is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills: both written and verbal are a must
