Job Description
• Job Title: DBA/ Database Developer-SQL
• Location: REMOTE/Work from home
• Shift timing: 1:30PM to 10:30PM
• Mandatory Skills: 7-14 years in database SQL
The ideal candidate will ensure the performance, integrity, and security of our databases and develop and maintain database applications.
• Key Responsibilities:
Database Administration:
Design, install, and maintain high-performance database systems tailored to our operational needs.
Monitor and enhance system performance through index tuning and disk optimization.
Execute database backups and recovery processes, ensuring data integrity and security.
Manage disaster recovery (DR) site synchronization and standby databases effectively.
Plan and implement database upgrades and patches, minimizing downtime and disruption.
Establish and manage database security protocols, including user roles and permissions.
Monitor database access and usage, implementing data protection measures proactively.
Analyze and resolve database issues in real-time, providing comprehensive problem resolution.
Offer user support and address database-related inquiries with efficiency.
Automate regular database processes, track issues, and maintain clear documentation of changes.
Evaluate and recommend new database technologies to enhance our systems.
Application Development:
Design, develop, and implement database applications that meet our evolving business needs.
Optimize database schemas, tables, views, and indexes for peak performance.
Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to support application functionality.
Develop and maintain ETL processes for seamless data integration and transformation.
Enhance existing database applications for improved performance, scalability, and security.
Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to create effective database solutions.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for all database applications.
• Required Skills:
Proficient in database design, documentation, and coding best practices.
Expertise in database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Strong knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, and integrity measures.
Experience with MySQL, MongoDB, and various data warehousing solutions.
Familiarity with microservice architecture, Azure MySQL Database, and cloud-based solutions
