Job Description:
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Database support with 2-4 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining MySQL databases.
The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and collaboratively to ensure the performance, security, and reliability of our database systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Database Design and Optimization: Design and implement efficient and scalable database schemas.
Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and other tuning techniques.
Query Development:
Write complex SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Data Migration:
Perform data migration tasks, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
Database Maintenance:
Monitor database systems to ensure they operate reliably.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, backups, and recovery procedures.
Security and Compliance:
Implement and maintain database security protocols.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive documentation for database structures, configurations, and processes.
Collaboration:
Work closely with software developers, system administrators, and other teams to support application development and integration with databases.
Performance Tuning:
Identify and resolve database performance issues.
Continuously monitor and fine-tune database systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a MySQL Developer with 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with MySQL or similar relational database management systems.
Strong understanding of database design principles, normalization, and data modeling.
Knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Familiarity with data migration, ETL processes, and backup and recovery procedures.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
