Job responsibility may include, but are not limited to: Ensure state of the art database architecturesModel and architect Databases for performance, reliability, and scalabilityOwn entire database related process and activitiesEnsure backup, restore, scale and maintain DatabasesEnsure automation to monitor the database performance and handle Faults/ConfigurationKeep patching and security aspects of Database systems up to dateImplement best practices in DB maintenance for Next Gen messaging products like WhatsApp, Viber, RCS, e-mail, Voice, Chatbots etc.Required Experience / Skills: 2 to 5 years of experience as a Database Administrator / EngineerShould be good team playerExperience of Cloud based databases RDS PostgreSQL, Aurora, DynamoDB, MongoDB etc.Experience of architecting and modeling databaseMust be able to take and restore backupExperience of data recovery, disaster recovery (DR) and DC deploymentsPreferably certified for any of the industry grade databases like MySQL PostgreSQL, Oracle etcCertified with AWS / GCP / Azure Cloud platforms (good to have)Knowledge of PL-SQL, Stored procedure a mustMust have experience of optimizing queries for performance.Experience of data encryption in the DBMSMust be willing to work in odd hours/weekends if project timelines demand so
