Job Description
PostgreSQL Database Administration
TCS seeks an experienced PostgreSQL database administrator to join our team in Noida, Delhi, or Gurgaon.
Key Responsibilities:
Database Performance Monitoring: Ensure optimal database performance by monitoring and optimizing database operations.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Identify and resolve potential issues proactively through tactical troubleshooting and maintain regular backups for disaster recovery.
Security and Access Control: Monitor security and prevent unauthorized access to the database, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Schedule Server Maintenance: Schedule consistent maintenance on the server to ensure smooth database operations.
Database Schema Management: Maintain database schema, manage database availability, and provide best practice guidance to the development team.
Production Data Resolution: Resolve any production data issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Role Management and Teamwork: Manage roles, coordinate with other teams, participate in knowledge transfer, and demonstrate strong teamwork skills.
Requirements:
Minimum 8 Years of Experience
Excellent Communication Skills
