I-genie.ai is Looking for:
Data Scientist(NLP)
What role you will play?
As a Data Scientist, you’ll focus on converting our prototypes and MVPs into scalable products by ensuring the necessary DataOps and DevOps are in place – from data ingestion and transformation to final solution deployment and observability. You will also play a key role in influencing i-Genie’s architecture strategy and infrastructure requirements to optimize time to delivery, cost, and user experience. This role may also involve redesigning certain processes and governance mechanisms to avoid technical debt and ensure adherence to required data and development standards.
Education and Work Requirements:
• A bachelor's/master’s degree in computer science (with a science stream) from at least tier 2 engineering college in India.
• 5+ years of experience within a data science practice, with a strong focus on NLP areas.
Skills and experience Required:
• Ability to code in Python and PySpark is must. Mastery in Python and a basic understanding of SQL is required.
• General knowledge across the Azure suite and deep knowledge of Databricks is must.
• Experience in pushing products into production.
• Knowledge of state-of-the-art NLP techniques and experience across common packages (e.g., regex, transformers, CoreNLP, OpenNLP, NLTK, Spacy, TextBlob, LLM APIs).
• Strong experience in solving real client problems through data science (machine learning, statistics).
• A basic understanding of processing text data in non-English languages.
• Experience with Large Language Models in a coding environment, including integrating these into pipelines and fine-tuning, is a plus.
