The Database Administrator will work closely with senior developers to design, test, plan, protect and implement databases. This role is ideal for an experienced database professional who can analyze complex problems and develop solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage locking, process blocking, and performance tuning of databases
• Create and maintain high availability and disaster-recovery-friendly architectures
• Manage backup and restoration processes, ensuring data integrity and security
• Develop monitoring and metrics tooling to track database performance and operation
• Design and deploy new database objects and changes to existing database objects
Requirements:
• Advanced understanding of relational database architecture, specifically MSSQL
• Knowledge of SSMS, SSRS, support tooling
• Experience with T-SQL, Stored Procedures, and day-to-day DB functions
• Strong knowledge of systems and software development lifecycles; application integration techniques; and relational database design
