Data Entry Operator - Associate
Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Operator responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining large volumes of information across company databases and systems. The role involves verifying data, organizing documents, ensuring data confidentiality, and supporting internal teams by maintaining clean, reliable, and accessible records as per company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately enter and update text or numerical data into company databases, spreadsheets, and software systems • Verify data for errors, duplicates, inconsistencies, and completeness; correct or report discrepancies as needed • Sort, review, and organize source documents (physical or digital) before data entry • Maintain structured and well-organized digital and physical filing systems for quick retrieval • Ensure strict confidentiality and security of all sensitive information as per company policies • Follow data entry guidelines, quality standards, and data protection procedures • Coordinate with relevant teams to collect missing information or clarify discrepancies • Generate basic reports, summaries, or logs as required by supervisors
• Support administrative or documentation tasks related to data processing • Assist in scanning, printing, photocopying, and digitalizing documents when required • Ensure timely completion of assigned data entry tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality standards • Update logs of completed work and maintain transparent records of data entry activities • Participate in periodic data clean-up, validation, and record-audit exercises • Learn and adapt to new tools, software, and data management procedures
Skills & Competencies:
• Strong typing speed with high accuracy • Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors • Familiarity with MS Office applications (Excel, Word) and ability to learn new systems quickly • Good organizational and task-management skills • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality • Basic understanding of data protection principles • Ability to work independently or collaboratively within deadlines • Time-management skills and ability to handle repetitive tasks efficiently
