Data Entry Immigration Coordinator
Job Description
The Data Entry/Immigration Coordinator is responsible for accurately and efficiently maintaining company records, including entering, updating, researching, verifying, and retrieving data in company systems. Attention to detail, accuracy, consistency, and ability to maintain confidentiality of information is crucial for success in this position. The successful candidate will have strong business acumen and experience working with employees and leaders in a high tech or consulting environment and will develop a strong working relationship with internal leadership and consult appropriately.
Responsibilities:
Be an organized self-starter with demonstrated time management and multi-tasking skills to support the day to day needs of our employees.
Work with maturity managing confidential information.
Work comfortably in a small business environment.
Create and maintain time tracking records from employees and contractors.
Providing direct support for all immigration-related processes, such as visa renewals, extensions, amendments, transfers, terminations, permanent residence sponsorship and green card processing, consular processing travel and visa applications
Serving as main point of contact for external immigration legal counsel and/or consultant for the filing and status of all immigration cases
Serving as primary point of contact for all immigration related questions, timesheets, communicating clearly and effectively on processes, status, and timelines
Ensuring compliance related to the collection and filing of immigration documentation (tracking employment authorization dates, requesting updated documents, maintaining public access files, etc.)
Handling additional duties from time to time.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree or the equivalent in Human Resources or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist, ideally in an Information Technology focused organization.
Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Initiative-taking work style, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently.
Continuous learning and professional development in the fields of Human Resources and US Immigration.
Must have skills
Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Atleast 2 years of data entry experience or related office experience
Ability to effectively manage time, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
Ability to enter data into a computer quickly and accurately.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Strong attention to detail and ability to think analytically.
Experience with QuickBooks.
Must work in US EST time zone.
