Job Role: Data Engineer (Microsoft BI)
Job Type: Full-Time
Mode of Work: 5 Days work from office for the first 6 Months, later Hybrid
Location: Mumbai - Airoli

About the Role
We are looking for a Data Engineer (Microsoft BI) to design, develop, and support BI solutions for our team. The role involves working on data pipelines, reporting, and visualization using Microsoft BI tools, ensuring high-quality delivery in an investment banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions using SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI.
• Build and optimize SQL queries for large, complex datasets.
• Develop and support ETL processes (data extraction, transformation, and loading).
• Create reports and interactive dashboards for business and regulatory needs.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and project managers to deliver solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical/data issues.
Required Skills & Experience
• 4+ years of experience in the Microsoft BI stack (SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI).
• Strong knowledge of SQL query optimization and database performance.
• Hands-on experience with ETL design and development.
• Exposure to Azure DevOps (CI/CD) and Agile methodology.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have (Optional)
• Knowledge of Python, PySpark, Airflow, or cloud technologies (Kubernetes, microservices).
• Experience with other BI tools like Tableau, Qlik, or Cognos.
