Process Overview
Data Analytics & Insights Technology is horizontal function across Consumer & Small Business Technology (CSWT) catering technology requirements for reference, data and analytical data. The data and analytics environment is very complex with many data warehouse / marts providing strategic business support for decision making.
DAIT Data Solution Architecture and Strategy team is primarily focusing on strategic roadmap for the data and analytical environment and engaging with key business and technology stakeholders to build a strategic platform caters to Consumer and Wealth line of business.
Apart from providing strategic roadmap, the team also working closely with the technical delivery managers to create various architecture models (conceptual, logical and physical) in addition to come up with Alternate Architecture Analysis (AAA) to provides different feasible options based on the investment horizon and architecture principles, as needed. In case of any tactical compromise in delivering the solution for any reasons, it should be tracked as Architecture Issues and remediation plan agreed with the business.
In addition, the team also performs architecture governance functions such as technology/product exception handling, providing architecture oversights to solutions delivery.
