Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
12+ years of experience in enterprise architecture with a focus on cloud data platforms
Experience in handling multi-cloud platforms (either AWS/Azure, having experience on both will be good).
Hands-on experience in architecture design, solution expertise and implementations.
5+ Years of hand-on experience working on AWS Data and Analytics tool stack (S3, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, EMR, Redshift, Kinesis, Open Search and others) or Databricks to build repeatable and reusable frameworks for building Data and AI Solutions
Experience with SaaS data platforms – Databricks/Snowflake on AWS
Exposure in monitoring and optimizing cloud cost, governance and security
5+ years of experience designing and implementing scalable computing infrastructure for data solutions, including cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
5+ Years of Experience in Data Warehouses, Data Lakes and Data Modelling techniques using Erwin
5+ years of experience with data engineering and data pipelines for on-prem cloud, hybrid data models and data warehouses.
5+ Years of coding experience with Python, Spark, R, SQL or other equivalent programming languages etc
3+ Years of experience implementing Data quality and observability solutions across the enterprise
Proficiency in Databricks for data engineering and analytics workloads
Experience in data security and user access model
Performance optimization of EMR to fine tune the Spark configurations and runtime
Strong knowledge of Cloud centric architecture and data sharing capabilities


Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent certifications
Third party integration of data tools related to lineage, ontology, etc.
3+ years of experience in Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning and GenAI
3+ Years of experience implementing Near Real time and Streaming IoT solutions
3+ years of experience in application integration, APIs and Microservices
Experience working on Agile projects and Agile methodology in general
Familiarity with next gen enterprise cloud architecture
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data workloads
Experience with data cataloging, lineage and metadata management tools
Well-versed with the latest trends and best practices in Cloud and Data architecture tools and technologies
Manufacturing domain experience


Roles & Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable Lakehouse architecture on AWS using EMR and Databricks.
Execute the strategy to build highly reliable and scalable data and analytics platforms to ensure the business requirements are met
Create and implement repeatable and reusable frameworks for delivering Data and AI solutions
Establish architecture best practices, along with comprehensive standards and guidelines, to ensure adherence across the organization
Design and implement Self-Service frameworks that empower business units to develop solutions in compliance with enterprise standards, promoting autonomy and innovation
Develop Cloud economics frameworks that effectively monitor and analyze cloud costs at every level, driving informed financial decision-making
Experience in consolidating legacy platforms into a single platform for achieving single source of truth
Experience with large scale implementations with a focus on Organizational change management and reducing Technology Debt
Define centralized governance using unity catalog to manage multi cloud environments.
Conduct hands-on Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) to address critical capability needs, facilitating effective decision-making processes
Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to align architecture with business goals.

Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 per annum
