Data Analyst with strong Clearing / Trade settlement is sought by a global financial services firm to support a high-impact data function embedded within Risk, Operations, and Post-Trade. This role plays a pivotal part in transforming how the business leverages trade lifecycle data—enhancing accuracy, transparency, and the speed of decision-making through real-time insights and intelligent reporting. As a Senior Data Analyst you’ll be working closely with the Head of Technology for clearing and post-trade. As a data analyst this will be in cross-asset role embedded in Risk, Operations, and Clearing , supporting the full trade lifecycle with powerful reporting and decision-making tools.

As a Data Analyst will work across large datasets, including margin, settlement, and netting, identifying patterns, discrepancies, and opportunities for optimisation. As part of the firm’s central Data Platform initiative, you’ll document data flows, model structures for analytics, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clean, consistent, and reliable data across all operational layers. As a data analyst, you will Own the end-to-end delivery of data solutions across margining, netting, and settlement datasets

As a Data Analyst within the Clearing / settlements / Post-trade team, you’ll use Power BI, to design intuitive dashboards and visualisations that make complex data immediately actionable for business leaders. From improving data integrity to unlocking new insights for client and trade performance, you’ll help shape a forward-thinking, self-service data culture that empowers smarter decisions across the organisation.

Hybrid working: 3 days a week in the office Central London

Experience needed for Clearing / Post-trade Data Analyst
• Experience in a financial institution, clearing house, or brokerage, preferably in a post-trade or operations role
• Strong proficiency in Power BI / Tableau including DAX, Power Query, and data modelling.
• Solid understanding of clearing and settlement processes , counterparty risk, and post-trade reporting
• Experience with SQL, Excel, and data visualization best practices
• Proven expertise in post-trade data modelling, cleansing, and enrichment within Clearing or FCM environments, with deep knowledge of clearing and settlement processes.
