Our major telecom client, Bell Canada, is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to work on large scale IT projects. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3 years experience in this field. This is a new position.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with business analysts to understand the business requirements
Translate business requirements into technical ETL solutions
Support the current production versions and help investigate issues and identify root causes and get it fixed as soon as possible
Presenting your data insights and findings using PowerPoint
Use Python for data manipulation, data cleaning and process automation
Key Competencies and Experience:
Must have 1-3 years of Python experience
Strong MS-Excel experience is required
Good problem solving and debugging skills
Experience in the development of complex data queries and processes using various tools and technologies
Experience in data presentations and visualizations
Experience in presenting data reports to management and executives
Experience with reading, writing, and editing SQL procedures
Experience with ETL development as a data analyst
Microstrategy tool experience is an asset
Background in a customer interfacing role
Experience with some of the following packages & tools: SAS, SQL, R, Matlab, Python, Microstrategy, Tableau, etc.
Bilingualism, French/English, considered an asset
