Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of data governance initiatives with overall business objectives. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of data governance initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and implement continuous improvement measures to enhance the overall data governance framework. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of data governance initiatives, and regularly report on progress and compliance to relevant stakeholders. Collaborating with the product owner, data analysts and other people in your squad Data Wrangling (prep, collection and analysis) to assist with automation initiatives. Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement andanalysis) to assist with automation initiatives. Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implement solutions to deliver actionable data insights. Understanding customer needs and ensuring data solutions are designed to meet acceptance criteria. Analytical and inquisitive mindset to continuously improve the level of insight surfaced Ability to translate data insights into practical business recommendations Strong communication and presentation skills Proficiency in SQL for handling large complex datasets of varying types Strong problem-solving skills to address data quality, security, and compliance challenges in a proactive manner. Proficiency in Microsoft tools such as Excel and PowerPoint is considered beneficial for this role. Strong understanding of the data and analytics lifecycle i.e. exploratory data analysis, data modelling and design, data wrangling, data quality, hypothesis testing, data visualisation and dashboard design. Clear and effective communication skills to convey data governance policies, procedures, and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
