CNC Path Lab in Karol Bagh, New Delhi is seeking a meticulous Cytogenetic Lab Technician to join our team. As a Cytogenetic Lab Technician, you will be responsible for conducting laboratory testing, recording data accurately, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
• Collect, receive, label, and analyze samples or substances using appropriate testing equipment.
• Design and execute laboratory testing following standard procedures, recording observations, and interpreting findings.
• Maintain accurate records of all experimental data and test results in specified formats (written and/or electronic).
• Organize and store chemical substances, fluids, and gases according to safety guidelines.
• Adhere to safety protocols at all times within the laboratory, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Operate electrical and non-electrical laboratory equipment effectively and safely.
• Handle potentially dangerous substances (such as flammable liquids, biohazards) with caution and adherence to safety protocols.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) management systems, preventive measures, and laboratory best practices.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field.
• Valid laboratory technician license.
• Proven experience working as a lab technician, preferably in a cytogenetic laboratory.
• Familiarity with operating electrical and non-electrical laboratory equipment.
• Comfortable handling potentially dangerous substances and adhering to safety protocols.
• In-depth knowledge of QHSE management systems and laboratory best practices.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording data.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
