Job Description
The Platform Cybersecurity Networking Engineer (L2) is responsible for the day-to-day engineering, configuration and support of secure cloud networking ervices within the NESO Azure Cloud Platform. The role focuses on operating and evolving platform-level networking and security services in line with NESO's CNI, Zero Trust, and Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) principles The engineer works closely with Platform Engineering. Cloud Operations, SRE, and UK-based PAW engineers, preparing configurations, implementing approved changes, and ensuring high availability, security compliance, and automation across Azure networking and third-party security platforms.
Cloud Network & Security Operations
Configure, maintain, and support Azure platform networking services including Virtual Networks, hub-and-spoke architecture, Virtual WAN, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateways, Pri Endpoints, and Private DNS.
Operate and manage network security platforms including Palo Alto NGFW, Cloudflare (DNS/WAF), Infoblox DNS/IPAM, DigiCert PKI, and Zscaler ZPA as part of the platform st stack.
Implement approved firewall rules, WAF policies, DNS changes, IPAM allocations, and certificate updates in line with defined SLAS.
