Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of the position is to manage, support, and coordinate all information security activities and programs for the branch. He/she shall be primarily responsible for ensuring compliance to various instructions issued by the RBI on information/cyber security via process re-engineering and documentation. The purpose of this position to manage, support and coordinate all Information Security activities, programs and initiatives of the Bank.
WORK RESPONSIBILITIES
o Responsible for the maintenance of the information security policies and monitoring compliance with the regulatory authorities
o Designing of Information security training program & ensuring awareness among the staffs through proper channels
o Participation in the development, implementation and maintenance of business continuity/DR/Vendor assessment plans, policies and procedures
o Develop, implement and monitor a comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management program
o Be able to clearly articulate pros & cons of various technologies & platforms and be able to document use cases, solutions and recommendations
o Hands on experience on managing incident and problem management, change management, critical incident management calls, manage escalations, communication, drive technical troubleshooting, resolution and RCA
o Providing support including procedural documentation and manual related to I.T. Dept.
o Monitoring day to day sever logs and Application, server Issues and resolution in timely manner to make ++.+% uptime to business Responsible for handling technical & non-technical escalation
o Coordinate and track all information technology and security related audits taken up in the Bank and conduct data classification assessment
o Help in putting together the policies for the purpose of expansion of Branch network in India
DESIRED SKILLS
o BE or MCA Degree in computer science or related field
o 5 – 8 years, experience in information security & IT risk management
o Banking background necessary, especially experience in foreign banks
o Reporting/writing skills, ability to draft replies to the regulatory authorities
o Strong knowledge of Information Security concepts including, but not limited to, Audit Reviews, Risk Assessment, Awareness & Training, Identity Access & Management, Data Protection, Secure SDLC, Incident Management, Vulnerability Assessment, Third Party IS Assessment, Secure Configurations, Patch Management, etc.
o Hands-on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc
o Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills along with documentation
o Excellent communication ability, collaboration skills, ownership and accountability
