Job Description
We are looking for a confident, well-spoken telesales and customer support executive to bring new customers onto PlanPulse and look after them once they are on board. This is a phone-first role. You will be making outbound calls to relevant planning professionals to introduce PlanPulse, then nurturing anyone who shows interest through a trial and on to a paid subscription, followed by ongoing support once they are a customer.
In the early stages this is high-volume telephone work, with an expectation of around 20 calls per hour to prospective clients. As customers come on board, the balance of the role shifts away from prospecting and towards onboarding and account support, so the pace and mix of the work will change as the customer base grows.
The role covers the full customer journey. You will make outbound calls to introduce PlanPulse and book product demos, follow up consistently with people who have shown interest or started a trial to guide them towards subscribing, and provide ongoing support and check-ins for customers once they have signed up, so they get value from the product and stay subscribed. Keeping clear, organised notes on every call and follow-up is essential, since you will be managing many contacts at different stages at once.
This is a fully remote role. Hours are to be agreed and a highly flexible working arrangement is possible, which suits anyone fitting this around studies or other commitments, provided you can reliably deliver the call volume and follow-up the role requires.
We are looking for someone confident on the phone and comfortable speaking with people they have not met, with clear, professional communication and a friendly, persistent manner. Previous experience in telesales, outbound calling, customer service or account management is highly valued. Just as important is being self-motivated and reliable when working independently, resilient in the face of rejection, and organised enough to track a pipeline of contacts at different stages without anything falling through the cracks.
Pay is £13 to £15 per hour, depending on experience.
