Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities and key stakeholders to build trust and facilitate effective communication.
Provide high-level written communication skills to produce complex reports and documentation within a legislatively controlled environment.
Analyse and provide detailed knowledge of indigenous issues, trends, and practices and their impact on prisoners.
Effective interpersonal skills to build successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Model attitudes and behaviours that align with the correctional environment.
Maintain resilience to achieve high standards in delivering essential frontline services.
Contribute to administrative and technical skills to assist in achieving workplace goals.
Apply legislation, policies, and procedures effectively.
Communicate professionally with colleagues, offenders, management, and stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Utilise risk assessment instruments and processes within criminal justice settings.
Deliver high-quality professional reports and case notes.
Maintain sensitivity and confidentiality when handling issues and information.
